What chips are peanut free? Are any chips made in peanut free facilities? Many chip brands are unsafe due to cross contamination, but we went to work to find safe options for our child with a peanut allergy–and yours. We were happy to find more than ten safe chip brands for those in peanut free schools and those who experience peanut allergies themselves. We found some chips that are gluten free too!
Many chips do not contain peanuts as an ingredient, however, many are processed on shared equipment with peanuts. Chips made in peanut free facilities DO exist, however! A few examples of peanut free chips are: Deep River, Beanitos, Late July, Popchips and Pirate’s Booty.
