Daily Harvest Review

I was pleasantly surprised by the clean ingredients and variety of meals, smoothies, and snacks. This is rare for a meal delivery service, but I easily found 24 Daily Harvest menu items to fill our box.

I appreciate being able to pick a delivery date that works best for us. It’s also super easy to delay orders.

When I opened my first box, I could tell the bowls had tumbled around during delivery. Upon close inspection, 3 of the 24 bowl covers had peeled open at the seam. There’s no liquid and no food escaped. This has not been an issue for any of our other deliveries.

The price adds up over time. It’s comparable to other convenience foods though, and much healthier. you also can use special discount codes and take advantage of sales to keep costs down.

Daily Harvest saves me a ton of time that would’ve been spent on meal planning, shopping, and prepping without sacrificing healthy ingredients (like most convenience foods).

This makes the price worth it for busy moms like me who want to eat and serve our families nutritious food.

And as a health-conscious food allergy parent with a long list of foods we avoid, the transparency and quality of ingredients are fantastic so it’s easy to find which foods are safe for us.

My favorite part of Daily Harvest is the gift of time without sacrificing health. I get to spend more time with my kids and when we need something to eat quick, I have healthy options in the freezer.

tomatillo-pepper-flatbread-daily-harvest

Tomatillo + Pepper Flatbread – This flatbread was full of flavor and a little spice. The crispy crust and flavorful toppings were a pleasant change from what I usually make.

Broccoli + Cheeze Harvest Bowl – Our family let go of most dairy, including cheese, years ago. I added salt, pepper, and garlic powder to give this healthy bowl a little more flavor.

Cherry & Almond Smoothie – Reminds me of PB & J (but obviously no peanut butter for us!). The kids noticed the vanilla flavor and claimed it tasted better than the smoothies I make. 😜
